We stayed at a hotel in a slightly out of the way location but it was worth it for the unique experience. The room was enormous with a massive bed, TV, massage chair, karaoke machine, and even a whirlpool bath. The staff were helpful and respectful, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast brought right to our room. The hotel is close to a convenience store and a short distance from attractions like Fushimi Inarai temple.
The corridors could have been cleaner and had a slight smell.

The hotel had huge rooms and baths, perfect for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially in assisting with restaurant reservations. The location was quiet and safe, with convenient stores just across the street.
The hotel was a bit far from the metro station, making it a bit difficult to find. , the free movies and TV channels were all in Japanese, which might not be ideal for non-Japanese speakers.

Nobody, we met, spoke a reasonable english. We arrived by 11AM but the check-in was by 2PM. In a very poor english the attendant has tried to explain us they would keep our luggage and following she has requested us to pay the 2 nights in advance (?!) We asked what we could do while waiting.... they only gave us a map and some fliers.

This hotel fulfills all the basic requirements and comforts. Location is good, within Kyoto Station & bus terminal, convenient to find food, wear & cosmetics. Room are bigger compared to other hotels we stayed in on the same trip. Hotel staffs are very friendly & polite.
For a business trip (this hotel is one of the recommended hotel for our business trip located nearby), it's inconvenient when there's no wifi in the room.

The location of the hotel is not very close to public transport, but it is straight to Kyoto station. it is close to a convenience store that is right across, making it convenient for quick snacks and essentials.
The hotel is a bit far from the nearest subway station, which may be inconvenient for travelers with heavy luggage.

Great location
We are very low maintenance people. We look mainly for location and cleanliness and both exceeded our expectations, and the rate was surprisingly low for Japan. Highly recommended
